How to Lose 10 Pounds Before a Big Event
Oh no, you've only got a week to lose 10 pounds before that hot date on Saturday night! You're probably staring at yourself in the mirror, cursing like a sailor and trying to figure out how to drop that extra ten pounds by wishing it away. Give it up Cinderella, wishes aren't that magical. But don't lose hope! It's possible, and I'm going to tell you how to do it.
Water, Water, and more Water!
Yes, that's right.
Water can help you lose weight quickly. Our bodies retain water; it's entirely natural. Now, when you drink a ton of it, your body will loosen its tight grip on the extra water that's already in your body. This is one of the keys to losing that extra weight, and in less than a week.
Here's how to lose 10 pounds: Drink a lot of water every day. By "a lot", I mean 100 ounces every single day for a week.
You can always drink it with a little bit of lime or lemon juice if you hate drinking water. You can also sweeten it up with a little bit of honey if you must. Whatever you do, just keep drinking!
Eat Smaller Portions.
Many people who want to know how to lose 10 pounds quickly neglect this little trick. Rather than eating three large meals, eat 6 meals a day! That's right, you need to eat 6 meals a day. The thing is, they need to be much smaller portions than normal.
An example of the ideal size is 1 or 2 ounces of lean meat and, say, 1/2 cup of vegetables like spinach or some other greens. This will help you slim down in time for Mr. Hot Pants.
But don't go cutting back on food so much that you starve your body! All you're doing is reducing the portions and eating more often. Oh, and drinking all that water.
By Saturday night, you can fit into that great dress and hey, after you get home you can put away that box of Rocky Road!
