Neck and Throat Exercises
Muscles on the face lose elasticity over time thus the aged appearance and wrinkles start to develop. Neck and throat muscles on the other hand shows quicker aging than the face which makes them more challenging to treat. With the presence of these unwanted folds of tired looking skin, exercises are developed as to assist in the toning these muscles.
Here are some exercises specifically designed for the neck and throat area. These procedures involve sitting and lying positions often done when one wants to take a break from work or just simply relax.
1. Sit upright and tilt the head back looking at the ceiling. Keep the lips closed and then start a chewing movement. Feel the muscles working in the neck and throat area and be amazed of the results. Do the procedure for 20 times.
2.Sit upright and tilt head back looking at the ceiling. Keep lips closed and relaxed. Start puckering the lips together in a kiss and stretch the kiss as if one is trying to kiss the ceiling. Keep the lips puckered for 10 counts. Bring the head back to its normal position and make 5 sets of the procedure.
3.Sit upright with head tilt back looking at the ceiling. Keep lips closed and relaxed. Open the lips and stuck the tongue out as if one is trying to touch the chin with the tips of the tongue. Keep tongue out in this position for 10 counts. Return the tongue and head to its normal position.
4.Lie on the bed with the head hanging down over the edge. Slowly bring the head up towards the torso and keep it there for 10 counts. Relax and lower the head towards the floor again. Make 5 sets for this procedure.
5. While lying on the bed, hang the head down over the edge. Slowly bring the head up towards the torso until the count of 10. Relax and lower the head towards the floor and repeat the procedure for 5 times.
Who says aging cannot be delayed? These simple steps will surely guide one on how to reverse the signs of aging.
